A quick guide of how to enable the throttle accelerator for the new ENGWE ENGINE X eBike.
Looking like the ENGWE ENGINE PRO, the new ENGINE X model has a very smart trick. You are aware that bikes sold in the EU "should" have 250W power and to only work in assisted mode (no throttle). Well we also know that 250W is slow, weak and we also like accelerators when we are on "private roads". So ENGWE solved this, they made the X mode that comes with just "250W" power and a non-working throttle. With a bit of "magic" you can change the controller settings and the bike will ramp up to ~1000W top power, while the accelerator would be enabled! So you can now have a bike for both words, EU compliant and of course FUN compliant.
