SITH PUREBLOODS Make Their 1st CANON Appearance!-Chelli Lona Aphra was a human female archaeologist recruited by Darth Vader after the Battle of Yavin. Aphra, along with her assassin droid companions, 0-0-0 (Triple-Zero) and BT-1 (Beetee), fulfilled several missions for the Sith Lord before falling out of his favor, and after faking her own death, continued to roam the galaxy with the two droids. Aphra went by the alias Joystick Chevron, first when introducing herself to recurring adversary and occasional romantic partner Magna Tolvan, and later during her time serving in the Accresker Penal Legion.The Sith were a red-skinned species with tentacles, susceptible to using the dark side of the Force. They shared their name with the Sith, a religious order of Force-sensitives who also used the dark side. Centuries before the Galactic Civil War, a Sith was a member of the Sith Darkseekers. During their attack on the Ascendant temple, the lightsaber wielding Sith stabbed the Ascendant member Ilith, which ultimately led to his death. Over a thousand years, the Sith Order orchestrated and worked tirelessly towards establishing dominance over the galaxy and the destruction of the Jedi Order. Their efforts were done to ensure the success of one goal-the Sith Great Plan. So what exactly was the Sith Grand Plan and when was this plan created? Dan discusses the Sith Order's diabolical scheme and its inception. Following the near destruction of the Sith Order by the Jedi in 1032 BBY, the Jedi wrongfully believed the Sith had become extinct. As the sole Sith survivor, however, Darth Bane then created the Rule of Two philosophy, which dictated that only two Sith Lords could exist at any given time—a Sith Master and a Sith apprentice. From that point on, unbeknownst to the Republic and Jedi, the Sith operated in the shadows, working to topple both the Jedi Order and the Republic. If that’s the case, how did Yoda and members of the Jedi Order know about the Rule of Two during the days of the prequel era? Long before the events of The Clone Wars, Lord, Darth Bane, revolutionized a Sith Order found themselves on the precipice of annihilation. Darth Bane was a legendary human male Dark Lord of the Sith and the sole survivor of the destruction of the Brotherhood of Darkness at the hands of the Jedi Order during the Jedi-Sith War a thousand years before the Clone Wars. Darth Bane, then reorganized the Sith Order and created the doctrine that was known as the Rule of Two. According to Darth Bane, this doctrine stated that there could be only two Sith at any given time: a Sith master and a Sith apprentice. From that point forward, Darth Bane vowed that the Sith would operate in the shadows, with a master and apprentice plotting and scheming to implement the Sith Grand Plan, which was to topple the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic. The vendetta Bane held against the Jedi was fulfilled during the Clone Wars, when Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, secretly the Sith Lord Darth Sidious and a follower of the Rule of Two, transformed the Galactic Republic into the Galactic Empire in 19 BBY and destroyed the Jedi Order.
