Peter and Paul Fortress is a museum but used to be a prison. In Trubetskoy Bastion were held many political prisoners waiting for a trial including Bronisław Piłsudski. Here Bronisław father Józef visited him before he was moved to other places for the hearings. There are many informations inside of the museum of Lenins brother Alexander Ulyanov who was arrested for the same crime as Bronisław and yet, there is nothing about our hero. Thanks to great amount of research done by Professor Antoni Kuczyński we know which cell Bronisław was staying in.
