So with that Storm Bert causing havoc across the UK it meant I didn't do my original plans for the day and missed the 1st runs each way of the day completely due to the torrential rainfall but braved the weather from the 2nd runs onwards to try capture what I could underneath shelter where I chose Tyseley Station for the diesel hauled run and then awaiting the steam return where I decided to stay on platform 2 as there was a chance of being bowled by a WMR to Stratford on platform 3 but also I wanted to capture the 2 class 37's 37405 and 37425 that were passing minutes later through platform 1 hearing them approach before seeing them pass by with a nice bit of thrashing, after that it was onto my next location for the day.
The location I went next was Solihull Station to just capture the steam hauled journey only as the rain was still coming down so filmed from a different place than my usual spot at the end of the platform, after passing I was a little bit cold and wet but that didn't stop me heading back over to Tyseley Station platform 3 to capture the diesel hauled running through platform 1 and the return journey steam hauled through platform 2, I already had this plan as it was the only original one left of the day and knew I'd not be bowled by anything.
Overall it wasn't the greatest day of capturing due to the weather but I did the best in horrible conditions for you all to hopefully enjoy, thank for watching and please like, share, comment and subscribe to my channel for more steam train adventures next weekend and each until Christmas.
