The Boosting Apprenticeship Commencements offers a 50% wage subsidy to businesses when employing an apprentice or trainee from October 5, 2020. An Australian Government initiative, the program aims to stimulate the Australian economy post COVID-19 and is expected to place 100,000 (capped) new apprentices and trainees over the next 12 months.
