I was contemplating some trends I'm seeing within the modern rifle hunting community through the students we're seeing at our classes.
The trend is clearly indicating that the ultra-light hunting rifles are all the craze, but along with that they're being chambered in some really huge cartridges that don't necessarily lend themselves to be easy to shoot or forgiving.
I'm not trying to call anyone's baby ugly, but modern rifle hunters out there today need to take a hard look in the mirror and ask themselves if they can really shoot these ultra-light boomers, and actually hit what they aim at.
