WIPO Director General Daren Tang welcomes Liechtenstein's accession to the Beijing Treaty and the Marrakesh Treaty. The Beijing Treaty gives actors and other audiovisual performers more rights to their work, improving their earning conditions, while the Marrakesh Treaty makes the production and international transfer of specially-adapted books for people with blindness or visual impairments easier.
Ambassador Kurt Jäger, Permanent Representative of Liechtenstein to the WTO and other economic international organizations in Geneva, deposited the instrument of accession with WIPO Director General Daren Tang on September 22, 2021.
