Hello vinyl record and music fans alike. This past Saturday, April 21st 2018 was the 11th annual celebration of International Record Store Day!!!!

Here is a synopsis of my adventures featuring Luna Record Shop and Grimey's Records, as well as my hunt for a special release this RSD that I had my eye on.

There is no better place than Music City, USA to celebrate a wonderful holiday and keep vinyl alive. Although fun fact, vinyl record sales have experienced year over year double-digit growth in sales reaching a 25 year high in 2016 and in 2017 accounting for 15% of ALL album sales in the US.

Given this trend, Sony announced last year they are building brand new vinyl pressing plants after a nearly 25 year hiatus from the vinyl game, signaling that vinyl has been revived and isn't going away anytime soon!
