Welcome to Part 6 of my review of London's Emission-Free Buses. I might just as well call it "London's Electric Buses," as there has been no further investment in hydrogen propulsion in the Capital (although, who knows, it might turn out to be the best option one day!). But battery-electric is the name of the game and will be so for the foreseeable future.
I put my camera away in the autumn, but it came out again at various points mid-winter, with the arrival of exciting new vehicle types, like the Volvo BZL - which should make its first appearance in Part 7. But for the most part, it was a matter of waiting for the summer sun to show off our buses at their best....and as usual it was a jolly long wait! Consequently, there is a lot of catching-up to do, and Part 6 mostly concerns itself with services that went electric in the autumn/winter of 2023.
This video covers the following routes: 235, 226, 219, 307, 113, SL9 (briefly), 450, C3, 417, 185, 199, 317 (update) and SL10.
Thanks for watching!
