We are the centre for adventure travel in South Iceland. We are a local family business offering quite a unique combo: with Midgard Adventure as a tour operator and travel agency and Midgard Base Camp for accommodation, restaurant and bar, we offer everything you need as a base for your travels in Iceland.
Most of us grew up in the small and well-situated town of Hvolsvöllur or in the surrounding farms. We just love our neighborhood; the only thing we like even more is showing off by taking our guests on adventures around our beautiful backyard. We take you to our favorite places, where we went already as kids and show you the true, unspoiled Iceland, Iceland of the beaten path. We know the secret spots, the nicest hot spring, the best views and have endless stories to tell.
We only offer trips to our guests that we like ourselves. So join us for a day or even multi-day tour with our favorite activities: super jeeps, wilderness hikes, fat-biking, snowmobile trips or ice walking/climbing.
Our location is ideal in Hvolsvöllur, the very heart of South Iceland, along the ringroad, just a stone throw away from Landmannalaugar, Þórsmörk, beautiful black sand beaches, infamous volcanoes and jaw-dropping waterfalls.
