There She Goes is a BBC comedy-drama series created and written by Shaun Pye. Inspired by Pye's own experiences as the father of a learning-disabled child, the show follows the story of Rosie Yates, a young learning-disabled girl played by Miley Locke, and her parents Simon and Emily, played by David Tennant and Jessica Hynes respectively. Edan Hayhurst stars as Rosie's older brother Ben, a mild-mannered teenager who's needs are often overshadowed by Rosie.
There She Goes received overwhelmingly positive reviews, and was praised for its candid writing, and honest portrayals of family life. Tennant and Hynes received universal praise for their performances, with the latter taking home the BAFTA award for Best Female Comedy Performance in 2019.
