The grand event occurred on October 16, 2024, in Mumbai, celebrating the 60th edition of the esteemed beauty pageant. She takes over the title from Nandini Gupta of Rajasthan, who held the crown since 2023. The competition featured 30 participants from all 29 states and one from the Union Territories. With this win, Nikita Porwal will now represent India at the upcoming Miss World pageant.
