Hello and welcome to the motorway man and welcome to another episode of Motorway service station history, where we will be looking at every single proposal of a service station.
Today's Motorway, is the M6. It opened in 1958 making it the oldest motorway in the country. It is 233 miles long running from Birmingham to near scotland and in current times, it has 19 service stations but in today's video we will be looking at the potential 29 service stations.
