This robotic deburring system uses Touch Detection, one of Matrix Design's proprietary adaptive technologies, to effectively remove burrs on the surface of machined parts.
The operator places two raw parts in a fixture where they will be automatically shuttled into the cell. Each part will be picked by a robot to be deburred. The robot will articulate the part about the stationary spindle to automatically deburr the part surfaces. Once the parts have been deburred, the parts will be placed back into the fixture and shuttled back out to the operator.
