Nobel Laureates Abhijit Banerjee & Esther Duflo spoke on their work. The duo, along with Michael Kremer were jointly awarded the 2019 Nobel Economics Prize for their ‘experimental approach to alleviating global poverty'. Nobel laureate Abhijit Banerjee said that this is a prize for the entire movement and about 400 professors have been associated with the movement.
