I was checking out a unit that didn't seem to be keeping the office space cool and it didn't take long to realize that the outdoor fan motor was in fact running backwards.
My phone kept shutting down the video recording with a message to let it cool down. I forgot to get a video clip of the wiring on this motor which is different than the typical universal fan motor that has the reversing wires near the motor.
On this one you swapped wires with L2 and the capacitor or something like that to choose the direction. This leaves you with extra wires to cap and will confuse those who do not understand electrical well or know how to read wiring schematics very well.
