Short clip of a worker welding a lid at the Eurotank metal shop in Harlev, Denmark. Shot in connection with an assignment.
HD footage shot with the Panasonic AG-AF101e videocamera. All settings were on default or manual, and all automatic lens controls were disabled. The lens was a medium priced standard film lens with no motors, so iris, zoom and focus was adjusted manually. I used the wireframe to set the light, but find the lcd display very reliable in most lighting conditions. ISO400 (default).
The footage has not been altered by any color corrections or effects. It was imported into Final Cut with the Apple ProRes 422 codec, and then exported directly as a H.264 with all quality settings set to max, and finally uploaded to Youtube.
I expect the workflow to be very similar to most real world scenarios, and it shows quite well what the camera is capable of.
