In his recent talk, at Agile and Beyond, Mike dives into his theory on Agile Transformation, the goals of Agile Transformation, and spends some time discussing what exactly is being Transformed. A lot of people—and companies—want to start with culture, or practices, but while those two things are really important….it’s not a great starting place. Over the course of his talk, Mike builds the case that the impediment to becoming fit for Agile isn’t a culture problem. It’s not a practices problem. It’s really a systems problem. And, if you can buy into that philosophy, Mike shares a lot of thoughts on how to actually make a systems-first Transformation work at scale.
