Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago has today denied media reports that he falsefully obtained money from Chinese investors who want to do business in Kampala.
The Inspector General of Government, Irene Mulyagonja has however told NTV that a Kampala based Chinese company petitioned her Office over alleged extortion of money from them by officials from the Mayor's Office.
Lukwago on the other hand, has also filed a petition to the IGG over alleged fraudulent award of a tender to a Chinese company by the technical wing of Kampala Capital City Authority.
