The Street Racers Civic has been out of action for a few years but made one hell of a return for Doorslammers 2019 aat Santa Pod Raceway!

An old PB of 9.4 from many years ago that was set at Hal Far Raceway in Malta was instantly smashed with a 9.0 on Friday so the team headed back to base whacked it on the dyno and turned the boost up!

No one expected an 8.3 second pass in Round 1 Eliminations and quickly the car caught everyone's attention... Round 2 came and Wendall drew the slowest car in the class but did he take it easy? Oh no he didn't! He went and took the European Record with an 8.34 at 179 MPH.

Unfortunately a bog on the launch cost Wendall a Round 3 win but the future is looking promising for this little Civic, could it be the first FWD in Europe to run a 7? Only time will tell!
