Small cockpit, big power, low weight, Great experience!
This time I went around the track as a passenger in the brand new Lotus Exige V6 Cup. With a V6, 345 bhp @ 7,000 rpm, Max Torque 400 Nm @ 4,500 rpm, and an unladen vehicle mass of 1,110 kg, this is a perfect track beast.
The cockpit was so small I couldn't place my camera how I would like to place it. So I mounted it on the side window and changed the angle several times during the ride.
The dashboard might be a bit annoying for you during the video, but it is a nice representation of the experience of being in a small but very fast car on a race track. :)
There is a small screen in the right upper corner which indicates the speed. It is sometimes visible. Highest speed must be something like 125 mph.
