Jason Smith is a physicist who took to economics. He has used modern information theory to build a different approach to analysing and predicting economic data. Jason always has a fresh and unexpected approach to things and remains an empiricist through and through. We had a super interesting chat that ranged from economic methdology to machine learning and AI to workers' rights and unemployment.
