Made the trip up to Carlisle, Ohio on Monday where I met up with @LostDepot and @GY51360 (Buckeye Freight Railin`) and we caught some action on the old B&O, now the CSX Toledo Sub. The Canadian wildfire smoke has returned to our area, and it is visible in the videos here. It`s not quite as bad as the last time it was here a week or so ago, but still visible and you can smell it too.
Train number 1 is a Northbound mixed manifest that was blowing for the crossing as I pulled in the parking lot. Thankfully it wasn`t moving at lightning speed so Iwas able to get to a decent spot to film it.
Tain number 2 is a long Middletown Special with a large load of newly rolled steel coils that just left the Cleveland Cliffs steel mill in Middletown, Ohio about 10 miles South of Carlisle.
Train number 3 is also a Northbound mixed manifest that is being led by SpongeBob SquareCab and his brother. This is the Lima train that runs daily from Cincinnati, Ohio to Lima, Ohio.
