Trigger warning to those with anxiety, those with auditory sensitivity, and those who also suffer from seizure disorders!

I get 'focal-aware seizures' on occasion, which is most likely a direct side effect of my nocturnal seizure disorder. I've had seizures somewhat regularly for the past 7 years now, and had this short animation idea based on the sensations that I feel during these seizure events. They're incredibly powerful moments that usually last for about 10-30 seconds in my specific case. The best way that I can personally describe it is suddenly feeling a really intense deja-vu, nausea, and suddenly realizing you're hyperfocusing on the loss of focus. It's scary in the moment, but when it passes it's like nothing happened. It often gets confused with 'zoning-out' but it absolutely feels like something completely different and way more terrifying.
I initially wanted to upload this with no audio, but last-second decided I wanted to try some basic sound design instead. I recorded a bunch of foley, little Mayde noises, and used some of my guitar equipment to create a lot of the scary noises and static. I used an MXR Carbon Copy delay pedal with the repeats set to max, and played around with the time knob to create some scary sounding sweeping pitches.
Anyways yeah, focal-aware seizures are spooky. Glad you read all of this!
