MSC Oliver departs Felixstowe for her next port, Tangier Med in Morocco. MSC Oliver had 2 tugs for departure and the assistance of in-direct around the Beach End corner out of the harbour. The pilot on-board Oliver bought her out on an angle instead of straight out. The stern was being pulled out while the bow as lagging behind. The only reason I could think of was to keep the stern away from the Ultra large CSCL Indian Ocean which was berthed astern of her. As MSC Oliver got further into the channel the bow thrusters was working flat out and Svitzer Shotley on 25% power to get the bow straight to come ahead. Svitzer shotley was released and stood down while the Svitzer Stanford was kept for powered in-direct around the Beach End turn out of the harbour
