Convicted of genocide, extermination, persecution, deportation, hostage taking and terror, the former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic was told today he would spend the rest of his life in jail. It was a landmark moment - but after six years of trial and 18 months of deliberation many of the survivors - even those who gave witness - did not live to see the day. Emily Maitlis asked the chief prosecutor in the case, Serge Brammertz, whether it had all taken too long.
