10 things you HAVE to do if you visit Bulgaria in the winter (and we suggest you do 😉)

Bulgaria is filled with gifts. We’ve been here 2 weeks and have already extended our trip to over a month because we have fallen deeply in love.
Here are 10 things we’ve done and enjoyed thoroughly and think you would too:

- walk around Sofia and fall in love with the architecture
- do a Bulgarian wine tasting
- try traditional Bulgarian cuisine
- experience the Christmas market in Sofia
- drink some gluwein
- visit the archeological sites in Sofia
- fall in love with the charming town of BANSKO
- relax at a hot spring spa in Dobrinishte
- take the train (it’s like the polar express) to any nearby village from BANSKO
- try some winter sports (or at least play in the snow)

We are so in love with Bulgaria and even more in love with how child friendly this country is. We’ve felt so welcomed and had so much fun taking Alaska everywhere.

We can’t wait to go ice skating, sledding, and to witness some local festivals 😱 I never knew one place could offer so much ❤️
