Romania's ruling leftist Social Democrats (PSD) are likely to win the most votes in parliamentary election. It would fend off a resurgent far-right movement that challenges the country's pro-Western orientation. The vote is the second of three consecutive ballots for both a new parliament and a new president. "They told lies about us that we want to take you out of NATO and the EU. It's not true, we want to be in all the alliances of the free world, but not submissive, we want to talk as equals with the other European nations," said far-right AUR president George Simion.
