Yaacov (Jacki) Handeli was born in 1928 in Salonika, Greece. In 1941 the family was deported to Auschwitz.
In January 1945, the prisoners were sent on a death march to Bergen-Belsen where he remained until liberation by the British
He is the sole survivor from his family.
