Did you know the toilet is not the dirtiest part of the plane?
I hate to break it to you, but the filthiest location on a plane happens to be the tray table where you have your lunch. Tray tables had 2,155 colony-forming bacterial units (or CFUs) per square inch, according to a study conducted by TravelMate. In comparison, the flushing toilet button had only 265 CFU in the same amount of space. I'm not saying you should have your meal on the toilet. I'm just advising you to clean your tray table before your meal is served!
