We are Making a fake burl silicone mold and then we are going to resin cast it. I'm trying to make and exact replica of a piece of Maple Burl. I think I came close. Using the silicone with the correct amount of forgiveness was the trick to this. Silicone mold making and resin casting are fun things to do, and you can make awesome resin art works using these techniques.
