Silver Linings Palybook is up for best picture at this year's Oscars, and the Guardian's Catherine Shoard has fallen for Silver Linings Playbook, David O Russell's romcom about a bipolar high school teacher (Bradley Cooper) who attempts to win back his ex-wife by getting fit and making a similarly troubled new friend (Jennifer Lawrence).
