Spring is around the corner, but it is cold, windy, and raining here in my Area. I prepared one of my raised garden beds for spring planting.
What you see in this video is 4ftx8ft 17” tall raised garden bed from @vego_garden
I amended the soil by using unfinished bokashi compost. I could have waited longer, but burying it in the soil is okay, so here it is. And here is why I have to wait 3 weeks to start planting my vegetables. I have one more week to go. I throw some worms in there to help with this process.
I also added soil conditioner from Liveearthproducts and worm castings. Then I cover it with mesh netting to prevent the animals from digging.
I plan to grow some lettuce, kale, and Asian greens. And also, along the edge, I will be planting strawberries and flowers. I will share more about the process.
Updated: I added The Garden Grid™ watering system by @GardenInMinutes So simple and easy to set up. Use Code " Nita10" for $10 off any order over $100 at GardenInMinutes.com
