T'puram: The state government has taken over Pariyaram cooperative medical college on Tuesday. The cabinet has approved the ordinance issued on the matter. Meanwhile, the state government has already started to pay the loan arrears to HUDCO in connection with acquiring the medical college. Following the government’s crucial decision to take over the medical college, the governing body of the medical college was undertaking the day-to-day activities of the college only without taking any policy decisions.
