Spending a week in the beautiful town of Vernazza in the Cinque Terre National Park, I could not help but marvel at the wonder that is the Italian Riviera. From quaint, coloured houses to crystal-clear waters, this was a holiday to be dreamed of. Between swimming and fine-dining, I spent quite some time painting and was curious to explore the architecture of Cinque Terre through the medium of my sketchbook. In this video I present my findings and attempt to answer the question of whether there is something particular about the architecture that aids in making Vernazza and the Italian Riviera so beautiful.
