#chimpanzee #burgerszoo #lerato The recordings are from June 28, 2024. On September 30, 2023 Tushi gave birth to a boy, Thabo. On October 29, 2023, Laura gave birth to a girl, Lerato in Burgers' Zoo. Laura came to Arnhem from the Danish zoo of Aalborg on December 7, 2022. Very quickly after her step-by-step introduction, she turned out to be pregnant. Laura is a chimpanzee of the West African subspecies that is critically endangered in the wild.
