The ANC in the Western Cape is riding on the back of the party's renewal and those it believes are credible candidates, to be its trump cards in this election. It’s the only province where the ANC is not in control of the majority of municipalities, since losing the Cape Town metro back in 2006 and while it’s not denying myriad challenges affecting its campaign, it’s counting on loyal volunteers to restore trust and bring about change. eNCA's Lindsay Dentlinger spoke to the provincial head of elections, Cameron Dugmore.
