If you want to know how to lose weight fast without exercise this Peel-a-Pound Soup burns off more calories than you can eat of it as it takes more energy to digest it than your body gets from it. The cabbage soup diet lets you lose weight quickly while the soup also tastes great and it is full of healthy vegetables! The diet is listed below and you should only attempt it at your own risk so if you are in a high risk group or have any questions about your ability to try this you should consult with your healthcare provider.
Peel-a-Pound Soup Cabbage Soup Recipe and Diet Instructions:
-1 Large Jar (or can) of stewed or whole tomatoes
-1 Envelope of Onion Soup Mix (or you can just add garlic powder, onion
powder, herbs and other seasonings to flavor to your taste just be light
on the salt or avoid salt if possible)
-2 Boxes of Beef Bone Broth or Beef Broth (6-7 bullion cubes can be used
but bullion is usually high in salt)
-2 Cups of water if using Beef Broth (4 cups if using bullion cubes)
-1 or 2 heads of cabbage chopped depending on their size (the cabbages
have been running smaller lately so you might need two unless you find a
larger one)
-2 stalks of celery chopped
-2 bell peppers chopped
-1 to 3 jalapeño peppers for spice chopped (optional)
-1 red onion chopped
-1 yellow onion chopped
-1 garlic clove peeled (you can put the cloves in whole, chopped, minced or
however you like them)
-Season to taste with bay leaves, dried Italian herb mix, white pepper,
paprika, salt free Tony Chachere seasoning etc.)
*In a large pot add the chopped vegetables (onions, peppers, celery, garlic
and cabbage).
*Add the broth (or bouillon cubes) and water.
*Add the seasonings (soup mix etc.).
*Add the large jar (or can) of stewed or whole tomatoes.
*Bring the mixture to a boil with high heat and once you get a rolling boil
cover the pot with a lid and turn the temperature down to medium/low to
simmer for around 40 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
1st Day:
Eat as much of the listed fruits as you want at each meal and as much of the soup as you want. Apples, Oranges, Tangerines, Satsumas, Cantaloupes, Watermelons, Pears, Plums, Peaches, Papayas, and Pumpkin.
2nd Day:
Eat as much of the listed vegetables as you want, plus soup, plus a baked potato. Asparagus, Bean Sprouts, Broccoli, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Celery, collards, Cucumbers, Eggplant, Green Beans, Mushrooms, Okra, Peppers, Radishes, Spinach, Tomatoes, and Zucchini.
3rd Day:
Eat as much of the vegetables AND fruit as you want, plus the soup.
4th Day:
Throughout the day, eat 8 bananas and drink 8 glasses of skimmed milk, plus the soup. Feel free to cut up some of the bananas, place into a blender with some sugar substitute and some of the milk to make a nice shake.
5th Day:
Eat as many tomatoes as you want, 1 1/2 pounds of meat (beef, pork, chicken, or fish) plus the soup.
6th Day:
Eat as much of the vegetables as you want, 1 1/2 pounds of meat, plus the soup.
7th Day:
Cook 1 1/3 pounds of Brown rice (even better with wild rice added) and eat 1/3 of the rice at each meal along with any of the vegetables, plus the soup.
Note:
You can have any amount of coffee or tea without sugar or cream. If you want to use a freshly made dressing on the vegetables, you may do so. You can also have Parmesan cheese with your vegetables to help with the flavor.
The more of the soup that you eat the better it is for you because the idea is the soup takes more calories to digest than the calories you can get from it.
