The physical factors that create sense of place in Sade Village Market are layout pattern of the surrounding area, architecture (building types, corridor levelling between buildings, living area that functions as stage for activities and display, the close distance between houses, the distinctive entrance gate, typical Lombok architecture, the abundance of natural materials), interior aspect of Sade village shopping area (natural materials, simple display of products on sale and product attributes, products on offer/ locals sell unique products of Lombok such as woven fabrics, local handicrafts and souvenirs, and special vocal point (two significant points in the composition of Sade village that support the creation of sense of place are the love tree and rice granaries.)
Social factors that support the creation of sense of place are the narration of Sade Village history and the memory of the Love Tree, the unique characteristics of the merchants in Sade Village, the unique activities of local people as well as their internal interaction.
Both physical and social factors should be preserved in order to ensure the continuation of the village, as well as to inspire similar tourist destinations.
