Daytona have invested in a brand new fleet of SODI SR5 4-stroke go-karts, which are available to race at Daytona Milton Keynes for ages fourteen and over from Monday 29th May.
The SODIs have a Honda GX270 RDG4 4-stroke engine and a top speed of 50mph, with 9 brake horse power and 5,600 revs per minute.
This fleet upgrade will enable greater kart consistency and guarantee speed-fuelled adrenaline around Daytona’s 1,200 metre track.
These racing karts feature an F1 style steering wheel, wet clutch, full LED light package including brake lights, adjustable seat and pedals, SODI impact absorption system, belt transmission, and electric start.
There are 35 new karts at Milton Keynes, with seven striking liveries inspired by iconic Formula One cars past and present.
These karts are available to race at Milton Keynes from Monday 29th May. They will feature for the first time on the grid at the Daytona 24 Hours.
