Canggu was on the receiving end of a new swell on the 10th of April. And although not normally a 'go to' location when the waves are on the bigger end of the scale, it can hold some shape with the right conditions.
This was kind of the case yesterday. There were some gems to be had, but plenty closeouts to sort through in between. The Sandbar was copping the biggest sets, but it was also the most unreliable section of this stretch.
With a fairly high tide all morning, it was the Rivermouth rights that dealt with the extra size best. Particularly during the first half of the morning while conditions were still silky smooth.
