How to solder 18650 lithium batteries with soldering iron!
Hello friends，we often use 18650 lithium batteries.
Some friends worry that soldering with a solder iron will damage the 18650 lithium battery,In fact, as long as you can solder it quickly, it will not cause damage to it.
The 18650 positive electrode is easier to solder and the negative electrode is more difficult,because the heat dissipation surface of the negative electrode is relatively large.
Before we start soldering, it's better to sand it first,scrape with a knife or sand it with sandpaper.
The power of the soldering iron should be slightly larger, preferably 60W or more,don't use a pointed soldering iron tip, the contact surface of the pointed soldering iron tip is too small,It is better to use BC or K soldering iron tip.
Then increase the temperature of the soldering iron,I use 480℃ temporarily.
Use solder wire with rosin core,rosin is the most commonly used flux.
Heating and melting the solder wire at the solder joint,try to complete within 3 seconds,very short soldering time does not damage it.
18650 has a large heat dissipation surface, which can quickly dissipate heat,but the faster you are, the better.
