Super Au Pair Leanka recently travelled to Washington DC for her Au Pair weekend class. 🤩

She met up with other au pairs from around the world and learned more about American history as well as explored Washington DC. 🇺🇸🌎

She shared the following fun fact about the Washington Monument with us:

The stone color changes about 150 feet up because the stones came from different quarries during construction.

This is because the project was stopped for 2 decades due to the lack of funds.
