HEC - Harsh Environment Connector
The HEC series is part of the power connector product range and suitable for literally any low-voltage and high-voltage application. These include agricultural and construction machinery, chemical plants and process technology, mining, as well as machine engineering and non-contact areas in the food industry. 696-series HEC connectors are offered as cable versions and rectangular panel mount variants, with or without integrated protective house fitting. The cable is protected up to IP68 and – when mated – up to IP69K against the ingress of solid particles such as dirt and dust as well as of water. This enables submersion and high-pressure cleaning.
