Sky News host Steve Price says the Labor government hasn't cut migration and Australia is "allowing" more people in than it can house.

"Simply, in my view, we are allowing more people into the country than we can house," Mr Price said.

"Prime Minister Albanese, well he promised to cut the levels of migration but hasn't done it.

"This will come back to bite federal and state Labor governments."
