The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission will conduct the 8 postponed elections in eight areas on August 29. Chairman wafula Chebukati made the announcement after meeting candidates from affected areas at the Bomas of Kenya. IEBC called off elections including gubernatorial elections in Mombasa and Kakamega Counties for reasons including mix ups in ballot papers. CEO Marjan Hussein Marjan says the commission has resolved issues experienced including malfunctioning KIEMS Kits Candidates in the elections have been allowed to continue campaigns until Friday.
