My husband and I spent the first few days of our scouting trip to Côte d'Ivoire at the Hotel Coucoue Lodge Assinie in Assinie-Mafia, right outside of Abidjan (1-hour drive from Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport). This very popular resort is a favorite for Ivorians, including the current president (a little birdie told me!).
