Today's makeover is so out of my comfort zone. It's a style we don't often buy and then on top of that I decided to go for a paint technique that we'd never tried before. What can I say... I like a challenge. This poor wardrobe was in sad shape when we picked it up. Truly, the pictures and video don't convey just how incredibly rough this poor piece of furniture was. It was so rickety that we barely got it to the trailer in one piece, the veneer was about 75% missing, and it was filthy like it had been sitting in a barn.
But we snagged it for five dollars... FIVE DOLLARS! So, how could we say no?
Follow along and then let us know what you think. This one gave me (us) some fits... but in the end we got it done... and hopefully someone will cherish it again.
