PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — The story of the secret apartment in the Providence Place mall, which was discovered nearly 20 years ago, is finding a new audience.

The "Secret Mall Apartment" documentary illustrates a group of artists creating a home inside of a hidden space.

Artist Michael Townsend was one of eight artists living inside the Providence Place mall from 2003 to 2007.
