Well HELLO - My name is Miranda, and I'm a second year Trainee Clinical Psychologist. Today I share the story of how I got onto the Clinical Psychology Doctorate (DClinPsy). Getting onto any Doctorate/PhD programme can be extreeeeemely hectic, but you often only hear the "happy endings" when people actually get onto the course.

SO, I thought it might be nice to talk about what the lead up to getting on ACTUALLY looks like for most people - cue irrelevant experience, existential crises, rejections and lots of other random wrong turns.

The road to becoming a Clinical Psychologist for suuuureeee isn't easy, so if you're finding yourself feeling like you're stuck/falling behind/completely lost/ready to quit PLZZZ REMEMBER you are not alone. Every disappointment ends up being either a lesson or a funny story (or both!!) at some point :).
